Right? Or if after 100 days we are stillin this so called "sh!thole" then it is the new President's fault, right? Have we forgotten Vietnam? The effect it had on our military after we pulled out because we let Washington run the show. Just like now, Washington is pulling the strings. BUT, having friends who are stationed over there, having friends who have come back, I know what THEIR morale is. It is very high and THEY tell me that they feel lik the job is getting done. If you listen to the media, then yeah you will believe that everything is going bad, going downhill. That is why I listen t the ones actually there and not the ones who get to go home every night to a warm bed.... I will vote for McCain because he knows what it is like to be on the ground. He knows what it is like to be in the military and he knows how to get the job done... And besides, Palin is one HELL of a Hottie!! He's also been in office for 8 years - are any problems his fault? Bush sucks and it was obvious he would be terrible before he ever took office. He is a spoiled, incompetent moron that should have never been the President of this country! Give me a competent Republican candidate and I can get behind him/her. Bush, however, is a joke. As for Iraq, I support our troops and hope we are making a real difference there. However, it was a mistake to go in the first place and we will likely never directly benefit from the actions in Iraq. At this point, I support whatever actions get us out of there as quickly as possible without jeopardizing the the progress made to date...

Not to compare, but all "teams" think what they are doing is right, and they almost always stand behind their leaders .........whether you are talking about military or athletics, I believe that is normal. People act like all the media report the very same thing.........that isn't true. Just like politics, there is media covering both angles of everything. I will vote for McCain because he knows what it is like to be on the ground. He knows what it is like to be in the military and he knows how to get the job done... And, how does McCain KNOW how to get the job done? For goodness sakes, he has been in congress for 26 years........I don't know how many actual days that is, since we are counting days in session only.....but, being in the military doesn't automatically make you an expert on war, just like being a football player makes you an expert on coaching a team. And besides, Palin is one HELL of a Hottie!! Now, that is a hell of a great reason to vote for president.......LOL.....I actually think she should go into stand up comedy when this election is over...........win or lose. She has given me plenty of laughs already.
