Anybody here? Let's talk about the Blue Devils................who will start at point guard in the first game? center? will Pocius see any time on the
court? Will Gerald's hand cause him trouble? What role will McClure play this year? How long will it take Williams to get into the 8 man rotation?

UCONN and Duke are both looking good this year, but honestly, UNC is the team to beat.
The Huskies need Thabeet to step up and become dominant. If that unlikely event happens, i think we have a shot. Im not counting on it though

I had no idea until just recently that UNC retained so many of their players ---- I thought that those that declared had gone to the NBA ---- it's
absolutely obscene that they retained all of Lawson, Green, Ginyard and Ellington -------- on top of Hansbrough going all 4 years when he could have left after
first year ---- what the hell. We recruit Randolph as the #1 recruit (much higher than Sean May), he sucks it up for 3 years then leaves ---- we recruit
McRoberts, as the 2nd most awesome recruit in his class, much higher than Hansbrough, he sucks it up for 2 years then leaves. This happened in 2005 as
well. Man, I hate UNC.

I think Duke may be ranked a little high, at #5......at least until they can prove they are worthy of that. But, if UConn can be ranked #2, then why not?
Does anyone think Tyler Hansbrough may be getting some bad luck with his shin problem? That would be ironic if he is injured after returning to college for his senior year. That is such a big gamble in today's world. |

I saw where loserville was #3. Well when it comes to it in March, they will not be anywhere near te FF, just like always..
YOu guys see Bilas' top 5 on ESPN? Man he is getting as bad as Vitale in his "love" for the heels...Duke was not even in his top 5..Makes ou wonder where they are... I saw the highlights from last night's game...I do not have ESPNU but I was impressed with the new kids...But what I really liked was the fact that our lads were not sastified with themselves last night. Lik theydid not "go all out". That is a good sign because the players, and not the coaches knew that they had kinda played below what is expected of them...I am hopeful (again) for a serious NT run this yr. 4 returning players should make for a good team.... IF Coach can do a 9 man rotation...All that talent (like I have said the past few yrs) should not go to waste...
